Meet the sunshine man
I spent my first 57 years in New Jersey and the past seven years in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I am now living in Brighton, Colorado. My wife and I will be married 42 years in August 2025 and we have three adult children and one grandchild.
I worked 38 years full-time in a number of jobs which included a driver, district manager, and circulation manager for THE USA TODAY and Auto Trader magazines. I also had my own business, Sunshine Man Distribution, for eleven years distributing free magazines in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
I started driving on the weekend with Uber and Lyft in 2018 and today drive with Uber 1-2 days a week.
My Book
My book, "Driving on The Sunny Side" was published by Palmetto Publishers of North Charleston, South Carolina, at the very end of September 2023.
The book is dedicated to my passengers who have been inspiring, entertaining and fascinating. Today I have over 15,000 rides and in the book I have chapters on my top 50 rides, destinations around the world, inspirational stories, driving in Charleston, and Sports Talk Uber among others. This is a fun and easy read as I introduce you to hundreds of mostly sober and normal people who have told me some extraordinary things.
